Together with the Hero City to create new brilliant - FST signed and settle in the Hydrogen City

On June 20th, Wuhan University of Technology held a special event, one of the highest-level and most influential activities to attract investment and gather intelligence held in Wuhan in recent years.

More than 100 participants were present, including important academicians, experts, leaders of key universities of central enterprises and global Top 500 enterprises in Han, and leaders of relevant provincial and municipal departments. During the event, Shenzhen FST successfully signed a contract with Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), marking an important step for FST to enter Hydrogen City in the field of hydrogen energy technology.

WHDZ has a stronge industrial base. It is considered one of the most important areas for Intelligent Auto Valley, new energy, hydrogen energy, testing and inspection, and light industry production base in China. With resources, management and talent advantages, it is well-positioned to provide a large number of high-end and practical talents for the future energy industry and equipment technology.

WHDZ, which has been under construction for 30 years, is the bridgehead of the reform and opening-up of Wuhan and Hubei Province. At present, the zone is focusing on the development of digital economy, accelerating the transformation and upgrading, fully entering the new journey of hydrogen energy. The goal is to create a "3+N" modern industrial system, focusing on the development of industrial clusters supported by automobiles, new energy and new materials. Accurately attracting investment by the industries with "digital intelligent network terminal" characteristic, the zone aims to accelerate the construction of "five centers" and create a modern demonstration area residential and industrial complex.

In 2020, FST established “Hydrogen Energy Equipment Technology Research Center” in Wuhan. By leveraging the outstanding talents and leading technologies of Wuhan University of Technology in the application of hydrogen energy, FST Technology aims to combine the advantages of Wuhan University of Technology in the research fields of fuel cell and composite materials with FST's own advantages in industrial application and marketing.

The total investment for the FST hydrogen supply system and testing technology project is 100 million yuan, which will mainly be used for the construction of assembly workshops, engineering technology centers and testing centers. The project is expected to be completed in 2023 and on stream in 2024.

Leaders from the Municipal Standing Committee, WHDZ, Hannan District, and Working Committee (District Committee) witnessed the signing ceremony. FST's entry into the development zone is expected to make a significant contribution to Wuhan's hydrogen city, and to the national plan of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
