According to the contract, FST will provide two sets of Wellhead Control Panels for the Hamilton and Hamilton North platform. These equipment will be used for offshore wellhead safety control and operation guarantee of the production system.
In April 2025, the British government and Eni Group reached an agreement on the carbon capture project in Liverpool Bay. This project will utilize newly-built and reused infrastructure to transport the carbon dioxide produced by industrial factories in the northwest of England and North Wales to the depleted natural gas fields of Eni Company in Liverpool Bay for storage. This will help enhance the carbon reduction level in the domestic industrial sector and promote the optimization of the energy structure.
This project has complex working conditions and strict requirements. FST’s Wellhead Control Panel complies with international and EU explosion-proof standards, covering the design, testing, installation and maintenance requirements for explosion-proof equipment of the IEC/EN 60079 series and non-electrical equipment of the IEC/EN 80079 series (machinery and structures). In addition, the pressure-bearing components (Accumulators, pipeline and pressure accessories) and the overall system comply with the EU Pressure Equipment Directive (PED 2014/68/EU) and other stringent technical standards. After multiple meetings and on-site factory inspections with the client, FST successfully passed the evaluation process and won the trust of Eni, supported by its outstanding technical solutions and proven delivery capabilities.
